cadisen makes decent watches for decent prices. but they are known for making what's known in the watch world as homages. the movement of those watches are usually seiko movements. so they're gonna be for sure reliable and basically bulletproof. as for the water resistance and the fit and finish, they're iffy sometimes. so just don't get them wet. take them to a watch maker and make sure they're tightly seaked on the crown and the movement cover. that's where it usually gets bad when it comes to water resistance. sometimes chinese makers forget to add grease or tighten the seals and stuff.

One thing to keep in mind is that proper care and upkeep is essential. This is especially true of shoes, for instance. Since I retired I don't need nearly as many clothes, and so I'm especially focused on quality.

So in a day gone by, someone woke up and after rolling their duvet into a roll decided that all the men across planet earth must not wear black shoes with a blue suit but brown. And furthermore, the belt must also be brown and even furthermore, the strap on the watch must also be brown. What tosh. If all the men did this it would look like a staff uniform. I'm sorry, but...1) You're a dude who's into fashion, but saying sports seems boring and like a waste of time and money? Most dudes feel the same about getting too into fashion. We all have our hobbies and things we want to spend money on. Sports are fuckin cool: you actually have to be good at shit. You have to not only be good at shit, you have to be in amazing shape, AND you have to actually perform on the day and in the moment. You work as a team and overcome challenges. You're not just figuring out what things to put on. And 2) You're a dude who's into fashion, complaining about social pressure to be into sports, when you're saying things like "don't wear a matching color pocket square!! People will think you're tacky!!". Fashion itself is mostly social pressure. I'm not against looking good, but come on, it's not complicated. Wear clean, fitted clothing in colors that look good on you, that's about all there really is to it besides the social pressure stuff

The "tech suits" are a most to have - at least once. I had it to much times that I runied of my suites on business trips and or in the suitcase (interkontinental travelling that is). I always got my plastic suite with me on backup. Its also easily washable to throw it in the washer. On video calls it is also not looking to shabby. It is also versatile if you go on a construction site. I am working as a Biomed. Construction meeting here + board meeting surgeons within 2hrs time span. These suits are great if get a bit of dust on etc. There are times and places they work. But overall I aggree. Idiotic things to have. People where them on nights out. Like Wth?

Great tips but I just don't see how someone in their 40s or 50s who wears a baseball cap the wrong way round might adopt a fedora as his go-to headwear. 😀 It's more complicated than that! You need to have certain sensibilities in order to dress well and it takes years to develop them and look effortless.
